Status Overview

This document tracks the health and completeness of the ChatKcal documentation. It ensures that architecture specs, product vision, and project management logs remain in sync with the codebase.

Core Documentation Audit

Architecture

  • Data Model: Up to date with DynamoDB/AppSync schema.
  • Auth & Security: Covers Cognito integration.
  • Frontend/Offline: Reflects PWA and React Query implementation.
  • Testing Strategy: Aligned with Vitest/Playwright setup.

Product

  • Vision: Clear value proposition.
  • Roadmap: High-level phases defined in docs/project_management/index.md.

Project Management

  • Protocol: Updated to v2.0 (Rolling logs, STOP trigger, Spike archiving).
  • Work Logs: Properly categorized in features/ and fixes/.
  • Daily Log: Structure verified; archiving rule in place.
  • Master Plan: In sync with latest protocol and audit tasks.

Maintenance Items

1. Work Log Consolidation

  • Misplaced logs moved to features/ or fixes/.
  • Verify all internal links in index.md.
  • Verify links in protocol.md.

Recent Documentation Activity

  • 2026-01-17: Protocol v2.0 Upgrade implemented (Rolling logs, STOP protocol).
  • 2026-01-17: Documentation Audit and Healthcheck established.
  • 2026-01-14: Progress bar text color fix log added.
  • 2026-01-10: Prompt engineering uplift log added.

Healthcheck Checklist

  • All new Tier L3 tasks have a corresponding Work Log.
  • Roadmap (Master Plan) updated after every completed task.
  • mkdocs.yml updated if new plugins or themes are added.
  • No "TODO" or "TBD" in core architecture docs.
